A general Search does not list new words in the dropdown.
After an Index Merge completes, the new word(s) now appear. So, it appears the Search word-dropdown only draws from the main index.
This could be unhelpful and misleading, and should be fixed or at least documented.

The German word seems to mean "uneven" or "unevenness" or a related idea (Thanks Google).
