I know you are busy working on many projects, but come on! Enough is enough! Somebody, please get this done! (Preferably before the EEC is completed [which I also ordered about 11 years ago]. Sorry, I couldn't resist.[:)])

Don't forget that one requirement for doing this is that Faithlife has an employee able to proofread and handle typos. It doesn't have to be a full-time employee, it could be someone under contract but . . .
Hi MJ,
one requirement for doing this is that Faithlife has an employee able to proofread and handle typos. It doesn't have to be a full-time employee, it could be someone under contract
Is that a reason or an excuse?[:)] I know Romanian is not as widely spoken as other languages, but there are at least 22 million Romanian speakers in the world and at least 400000 in the US. It shouldn't be difficult to find someone to proofread the Bible(s). If that is the problem, I can proofread it and I am sure others would be willing to help.
Is that a reason or an excuse?
That judgment is so strongly based on the attitude of the person asking that I wouldn't dare to answer it. I intended it to simply be another element to add to the consideration - an element that has been mentioned in the past by FL.
MJ,
I intended it to simply be another element to add to the consideration - an element that has been mentioned in the past by FL.
I know you are one of the most helpful people in the forums and I appreciate your insight into the workings of Faithlife. I am frustrated because at one point it looked like Faithlife had started the process of getting this done. I tried to put the Faithlife representative in touch with one of the Romanian Bible translations copyright holders to help move things along. In January of 2021 I was told by the Faithlife representative that all the outstanding contractual issues with the copyright holder of one of the Romanian Bible translations had been worked out and a contract would be signed within a couple of weeks. Now it is thirteen months later and I haven't heard a thing about this. The email I recently sent to Faithlife asking for an update has not been answered yet.
At least you've done all the right things on your end.
Still hoping.
