I have been challenged by a Sunday School class to come up with all the Bible verses that tell us to get in Prayer and get in the Scriptures. There are many, but I don't know how to get to them.
Open Factbook and type in prayer. You will get lots of cross-references to consider.
Search for pray,prayer in the bible and then use the right-click Context menu to find a command on the left side e.g. Informative, Assertive. Then select a Search on the other side e.g. {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>} or {Section <SpeechAct = Oblig: Direct>}
Then modify it for prayer e.g. pray,prayer WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}
For Scriptures, try read,study,scripture WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>} or
read,study,scripture WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Oblig: Direct>}
You can combine as follows: pray,prayer WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}, {Section <SpeechAct = Oblig: Direct>}
This will eliminate overlap between the two.

Welcome [:D]
Dave's search suggestion can be expanded:
((pray OR prayer) WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}, {Section <SpeechAct = Oblig: Direct>}) OR {Section <LSTO = Prayer in the Life of the Church>} OR ((love OR thanks) WITHIN {Section <PropositionalOutline = Command>}, {Section <PreachingTheme = God's Love>}) OR ((word OR way OR walk OR true OR testimonies OR statutes OR pure OR precepts OR ordinances OR meditate OR law OR keep OR judgments OR heart OR fear OR commandment) WITHIN {Section <LSTO = The Bible’s Authority>}, {Section <LSTO = The Bible’s Clarity>}, {Section <LSTO = The Bible’s Necessity>})
Keep Smiling [:)]
