Sermon Builder: Possible to have multiple text boxes and images on a slide?
I'd like to add this suggestion to Faithlife Feedback for voting, but I thought I'd better put it out here first to be sure it's a reasonable suggestion.
I'd love to be able to create a slide, while editing a slide in sermon builder (via media), that has two large text boxes (or three or four or more) where text or images could be entered. It would be especially great if the font in each text box could be a different size.
For now, I use Powerpoint to create such slides, when needed, and then copy and paste them into Sermon Builder. (Which, really, works quite well...I've been using Sermon Builder for months, and I'm still discovering new amazing things that it can do. It's saved me a tremendous amount of time, and, I hope, it's also made lessons more enjoyable and memorable for the children I teach.)
Since I work with children, creating lists and using images next to explanatory text is quite helpful. I'd love to be able to do it right in Logos.
Is this something that is reasonable? (Or is Powerpoint simply so good at doing this that it's not reasonable for Sermon Builder to recreate the wheel, so to speak?)

Although it's likely not a quick fix for our development team, your request is a valid one. We are actively looking at ways the overall user experience within slides can be improved, so this is right in that same category of ideas.
Thanks for submitting this. I have taken note of it for our future work.

Thank you, Austin.
It's cool to know the team is always working to make Logos ever more impressive! [:)]

I would add my voice to this and include text editing in sermon builder. The idea that we must use a format someone decided for us and there is really no flexibility does not make the sermon builder a good tool. It is too weak and it has been in now for some time, time to unleash the liberty.
