Is there a global index for JBL (Journal of Biblical Lilterature) anywhere?
Ok I searched trhough some of the previous posts on JBL and didn't find this.
I'm not looking for articles that cover a particular passage(s), I just want to see the titles of all the articles in the collection so I can choose what sounds interesting to read. This is probably a dumb question but is there a General index for JBL which catalogues all the article titles (headers)?
I'm hoping to see this for example in one document or one search result?
Is this doable on tablet? (1st on desktop since that's where I'm posting then better if doable on tab since that's usually where I am at).
Sorry if this was asked and answered before, I searched but couldn't find it.

There are online general indexes to Volumes 1-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, 81-100, 101-120, and 121-128 (2009). Looks like someone was working on that last index and didn't quite finish it.
So far, we only have JBL volumes 100-125 in Logos. So perhaps someone could copy the indexes from those years from the above pages and create a PB out of them, with links to the corresponding articles in the resources in Logos. It would be a labor-intensive task, unless it could be automated some way.
Barring that, I guess the closest you could come for now would be to open each volume and expand its Table of Contents all the way and browse through all of those for interesting articles to read.

But just as a general point, Logos doesn't do NEEDED indices. Meaning for example, if it sells 4 dictionary volumes in a set, and there's no index for all 4 (one for each volume), the customer is left checking each index (IVP is a good example). Common journals the Logos customers use, are similar (JBL an excellent example). And it's fairly easy to do, unfortunately.

Good point. Logos really should do this. On the other hand, I'm guessing their logic for why they don't is that when you have such a powerful search engine, what would you even need an index for? I'm not defending that mindset, mind you. An index that is well done gives you something far better than what a brute-force search through the resource for a word or phrase would do. It gives you the important mentions of that concept. Alas, Faithlife is already stretched too thin, so I doubt they'll ever take on this worthwhile project. It's left to users to do something like what I suggested above if they want it, and share it as a PB.

I agree. And if I had to select 'which resources', I'd be at a loss. If I weren't so lazy, I do a PB, at least for the multi-resource dictionaries.
