Indexer Crash: can't merge lexicons

Yesterday I purchased a few more resources from Logos and had L4 indexing through the night. When I checked it this morning I found out that the indexer crashed. I restarted my computer and got a message saying that Logos had to install a 40mg update. After the install L4 repeatedly crashes. I get the following errors from the attached log files . . .

Error OurApp Unhandled exception: System.Xml.XmlException: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 41.
Error ID: 8866
Error detail: XmlException: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 40.
Error ID: 2335
Error detail: InvalidOperationException: Can't merge lexicons because they have conflicting data type references

Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

I wonder if you have some problem on the hard drive. Run chkdsk C: in a Cmd window to find out. If that is clear I'd wait for a Logos person to respond here or you could get in touch with Customer Support.

Dave, I ran the chkdsk which reported that there were no errors on the disk. I rebooted and tried starting L4 but get the same results as my initial post. Thanks for your reply. I'll wait to hear from Logos.

Tech support said that there were some problems with corrupted files. They uninstalled L4 and re-installed it after cleaning up the corrupted files. L4 is indexing now. I am supposed to let tech support know if their solution worked.
