Error: "Currently unable to send invitations. Please try again later."

<RESOLVED> If you are trying to invite a list of people, and even one person on your list is already a member of the group, the invitation will fail.  You can only include new people in an invitation to join the group.  

When I try to add people to a group, I receive the following error:  Currently unable to send invitations. Please try again later.

I am the group admin, and the group is connected to our church, of which I am also the admin.  Is there a problem on the Faithlife side right now?  Or am I doing something wrong?

It has successfully added two people.  Whether  I try as a group or as individuals, it consistently fails.
