Please don't forget about Printing!

Today I wanted to print out a list of verses that mention "New Covenant" and did a search (easy). Then saved as a Passage List (also easy). But now I want to print out the verse list and can not "easily" do that. Couldn't "copy" then "paste" the list either (just one verse at a time). Maybe there is a better way but I ended up using a Print Screen method, but really hope you will put more make this a simple function in the program.

I just realized I CAN copy the entire list and then paste. I right clicked on the list and did "select all" and then "copy". Sorry. I first looked up under the Icon for the Passage List and saw no "copy" function.

David - printing is coming. It is in the current Beta version that is being tested by those participating in its testing. The reports are good. I am not a Beta Tester, so I cannot directly report on its functionality.

If you don't have any qualms about beta testing (I've rarely had problems in all of the time I've been beta testing L4) then download the beta update....I think you'll love it.

I'm FAIRLY certain that if you create a Windows restore point to go back to...you can "undo" it if you don't like it...

I don't think this is true...

The consequence of being wrong is that a complete uninstall and reinstall would be needed to go back to the stable version. David, so far the Beta is very stable and I there have been no reports of problems making Logos unusable by those testing it.

He means a new Windows account. When you run Logos from the new Windows account it will download/index all your resources so you'll have two totally separate installs.

Dominick, to clarify: a new Windows user account. Download Logos 4 beta to that account.

As for me, perhaps I am foolish, but I have run beta on my "primary" user account and have not encountered significant problems. I have been a bit more cautious lately, setting up a new user account on my church desktop, solely for the beta. But my day-to-day laptop is running only beta.

Okay - now that makes sense. I will be a Beta tester by tomorrow! I do have one question - will the two accounts in any way interfere with each other? For example, if I add a shortcut to the Beta page for a tool or command that is only available in the Beta, what will be the result in the Stable release install?

In instances where beta features differ in some way from the gold release, those aspects will not sync.

If you have two separate accounts, the only possible problem you might have with a beta is if there was a bug in syncing. Theoretically this could damage notes on your main non-beta installation. This has never happened in any of the betas, but it's a theoretical possibility. If you're paranoid about your notes, just set use internet to off on your beta installation, then manually update from the command box from time to time.

It did happen with the Mac Beta to one user. The Greek text in his notes was turned to mush which then synched to the Windows version. Fortunately, he still had the original source and was able to quickly restore everything. This was fixed in Beta 2.
