New Reading Plan creates a section-based plan instead of page-based

I am using the Generate a Reading Plan from the Docs->New->Reading Plan menu item in the Verbum 9 (Platinum) Desktop application. I am not generating the plan by right-clicking the title. The book I am generating the plan for is the Vatican II Documents (VAT2DOCS).

However, the reading plan that is generated has one article every few days (often many paragraphs in length) rather than a few pages each day.

I realize that right-clicking on a book and generating a plan will create this form of section-based reading plan. Instead, I am attempting to do this through the menu under the Docs menu item, which is supposed to generate a page-based plan.

I assume this is due to a quirk of how the VAT2DOCS book is set up, as the same process seems to work for other titles in Verbum/Logos.

If anyone has any ideas (preferably other than a manually generated reading plan!), I would appreciate the kind assistance.

Thanks!

I don’t own this resource. On the product page, the sample pages don’t have page numbers. Does the resource have them?

Now that's a great question! I assumed it had, but now that you've asked the question, I see that there aren't page numbers but only references to the paragraph numbers.

I guess I'll have to build this reading plan manually.

I'm a bit surprised that Faithlife hasn't really implemented a way to deal with this by now, but I'm probably not appreciating the complexity of the issue.

    Thanks for the help!

    All the best,
