Hey guys,

 I wanted to ask if it is possible to arrange my literature accordingly. Just in the process of writing my MA-Thesis and wanted to optimize my layout a bit.

Here is a screenshot of how that looks momentarily:

Is it possible down where the NIGTC is opened atm to create different bars that contain categories that I can manually set?

If you could point me to where I might sth in that regard that would be much appreciated.

Tyvm in advance!

    atm = at the moment??

    By "Bars" I think you might mean a different tile. You have one vertical and two horizontal atm, which is fairly standard - one for Guides, one for Bibles and one for Commentaries. Open a resource belonging to a new category (it doesn't matter where), then drag its tab below the NIGTC until you see a light and a dark rectangle, then relase the mouse button and it will create a new tile. Then adjust the horizontal dividers by dragging up/down until the tiles have the size you want.

    Drag other resources along the top of that tile until you have it where you want it  (indicated by a vertical bar).

    create different bars

    What Dave Hooten calls "tiles" (this may be the correct nomenclature) I think of as "panels" I see 5 "panels" in your screenshot (guides, top center resources, bottom center resources, information and Text Comparison). Any tab can be "click and drag" to any of the 5 resource "bars" (top of the panel) Then "save current layout"

    My weekly sermon prep also has several "tiles/panels". within the "guides" panel I have several collections of specific resources. this forum post explains how I built mine - https://community.logos.com/forums/p/73828/516393.aspx#516393

    Standard terminology is that a tile contains panels a.k.a. tabs. The panel menu is the key to understanding what a panel is. I personally don't care what people call them but standard terminology does make answering forum questions easier.  There have been several cases recently where it took me some time to figure out what the poster was talking about because of the terms they used. Calling a guide a search gets me everytime.
