An extra segment appears at the end of Daniel 5:30 in Andersen-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis (AFPMA).
I think it is the "qere" reading and will occur in other places, probably without affecting the Syntax Search?

My guess is that yes, it is a qere reading, and that your intutition about it not affecting syntax search is probably (hopefully) correct. I won't have time to dig into this for a bit, though.
