I have a book called "The complete Book of Bible Lists".

So.. I build this collection and add that book to it..... I name the collection "Cross References"... and I go through my guides...Topic Guide, Basic Bible Study, Cross References... And I add my collection of "Cross References" to each one as I can...

And I start searching different guides with different topics....And yet none of them reference that book.

What did I do wrong?

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

I have a book called "The complete Book of Bible Lists".

Do you mean this book - https://www.logos.com/product/14073/merediths-complete-book-of-bible-lists-a-one-of-a-kind-collection-of-bible-facts ?

If so, it is an ebook so won't have any detailed tagging so I wouldn't expect it to show up in Topic Guides etc.

It might appear in a Passage Guide but not many more

I Believe this book was brought over from WordSearch. In my library it is listed as a "Monograph" and it does not include a Bible index like my other cross references do.

I have a book called "The complete Book of Bible Lists".

It has to be Type Encyclopedia or Bible Concordance and be indexed by Headwords (check its Information page under INDEXES). It must also have an article on the topic you selected.

I name the collection "Cross References"... and I go through my guides..

That could be misleading if you are collecting books with topics.

It is the book by H.L. Willmington.... which did come over from WordSearch.... which is another WordSearch book that doesn't work well with Logos searches.... Bummer! I wish I had kept count of my WordSearch books that searches and such does not pick up in Logos.

I was thinking that if I put it in a "Collection" then it should work somehow.... but I see I was wrong.

It will not work in Guides as it is type "monograph" (as stated in an earlier post). It needs to be type Encyclopedia or Bible Concordance.

It should work in Parallel Resource Sets. Tick the Collection box for "Show in parallel resources", open one of the resources from a Guide and click its "Parallel Resource Sets" icon. The "Lists" resource will be listed if the topic is an exact match e.g. "Ishmael" will not match "Ishmael 1".
