How can I search Greek idioms in the Bible (e.g. in Greek NT)?
Hello,
This is Sangmin, a student of a biblical Greek class in a Seminary, and also a beginner of Logos with V. 9.12.
I was curious about idiomatic expressions in Greek NT (e.g. in Gospel John in UBS5) and wondering how to search them with Logos.
There seem to be many tools and guides but don't know how to approach this question, maybe too many to find which is the one. (maybe, it would be great if I can try with natural language style search from the main search box, like "greek idiom in John 3").
Please let me know if there is any specific search tool for this or any other way in other search options.
Thank you in advance,
Sangmin

Welcome [:D]
Search suggestion is looking for John 3 in Idioms of the Greek New Testament, 2nd ed. that finds results in 10 chapters:
Right Click on a word in John 3:8 in SBLGNT shows two figure of speech labels:
that can be searched:
Depends on idiom for search technique.

Thank you very much for the detailed infos!!
It's very good to have this source, "Idioms of the Greek New Testament, 2nd ed. ", at the same time, I wish I could get to this book info from Logos.
It's ironical, but I just found I have this book in my library, but my search work didn't make it..
Anyway, thanks again,
Sangmin
