Karl,
How long has it been indexing. From your log it looks like it started at 12 and you sent the report at 12:30. It generally takes longer than that to index (unless you're running the modern equivalent of a cray).
Thomas,
I just enabled logging after it completed indexing this morning. I rebuilt the index last night as well.
to clarify:
Your computer completed an index, and when you started Logos again it began to create the index all over again?
Question if this is true: Are you certain that the indexing was actually complete?
Question #2: Can you upload the next set of logs when the indexing does complete and I'll/ we'll take a look.
Yes, my computer completed an index, and when I started Logos it indexed again.
The indexing was completed.
I will restart it again, and when it finishes, I will upload the next set of logs.
Well I guess the 3rd index was a charm, it is not indexing anymore. Idk!
Thanks.
Thanks Karl,
I anticipate the logs saying why it's initiating an index.
I read your extant logs and could not see a reason at all. Glad it seems to be over.
Karl, if you have your last indexer log I'd like to see it. The one you posted indicated that the Bible index had been deleted ==>
Dave,
This is my last Index log

I also noticed that there is a log for an index crash. I also posted this one.

Hi Karl
The latest Indexer log looks quite healthy ie. like mine it takes 2 - 3 seconds to check something it thinks it needs to do!
The crash log indicates that another process was accessing Logos4 files on the first two attempts but was not doing so on the third attempt. Could be your Security Suite and you can tell it not to scan your Logos4 folder.
