Hey,
I have the Standard Silver Logos package and I'm wondering if its worth spending the $80 to upgrade to the. Full Features.
What's peoples advice?
Matt
I would look at the additional features provided in the Full Feature upgrade and see if they are worth the $80 to you
https://www.logos.com/compare/featuresets?productIds=195569,195570 gives you that comparison
1. Look at Connect (even for a trial period)
2. Make a note of how many times you miss having a particular feature. No point in having things you never use.
3. Decide if the feature/s you miss are worth either continuing a Connect subscription or $80.
I needed some of the features in Silver but not all of them. I find that Verbum works a bit better for me than Logos at the Bronze level. You can purchase some features as a stand alone product or find them bundled in some specialty packages.
I bought the Sermon Builder in the Preaching Suite feature upgrade. In my signature you can see some of the other assorted things I got without updating to Silver.
I prefer to spend my money on books not features. I cannot always afford home wifi or a windows laptop that can run logos. Subscriptions and mobile features do not always work offline, but a lot of books can be downloaded onto the SD card on a Kindle Fire tablet.
I live a messy life. LOL. I am not good at keeping things for very long, but so far I have managed to keep my Logos library, and expect that I will be able to keep it for some time to come. I invest most in the things that will work offline on the cheapest and most replaceable tech possible. For quite a while, I just used the free version of Logos as an ereader.
Upgrading to Bronze was a disappointment to me. Bronze didn't produce better search results until I fleshed it out with a lot of the legacy 5 and 6 libraries.
Good luck whatever you decide!
