Please Faithlife integrate Geez,Amharic , Tigrinya and Tigre in Logos .
Amharic , Tigrinya, and Tigre are all the subsets of Geez. It would be very helpful to be able to study the Bible in their own native language for the people of Ethiopian and Eritrean people.

I assume you're wanting, as a minimum, a Bible in Geez? I couldn't see any in Logos. I have the Ge'ez Bible, plus Jubilees and 1Enoch in Accordance. I got it for Enoch, but I agree with you.

Most Bibles are available in electronic format.
I assume it would be relative easy to port them to the Logos research format in a few seconds with so low cost that even a format conversion for a single user is feasible.
FL probably could make agreements with Bible publishers and Logos users could get what they need.

These resources have recently showed up in pre-pub. Seems like a slap in the face to those, especially Tes, who have been asking for YEARS (at least 12 years) for an Amharic Bible.

I just discovered that there is a request on the Feedback site, which I've now just voted for (not because I want it myself; I can't read Amharic; but because I think it's important for Logos to have this, as there are 25+ million speakers of Amharic in the world). Go vote here:

Thank you Rosie for the awareness of integrating of these translations. These languages are spoken widely in Ethiopian , Eritrea and among the Ethiopian Jews in Israel as well. In Ethiopian it self Amharic Bible is being used by approximately 50-60 Millions. Tigrinya Bible is being used by half of the nation in Eritrea. And partly it is being used in a certain part of Ethiopian. The books shown in shown in Pre-pup are not bible t translations , but it is one step for word to Integrate the Bible Translation as well.

Yes, I know they are not bible translations, which is why I said it's a "slap in the face" that they have got these while still not having heeded your many requests for Bible translations. How can they be teaching Amharic to Logos users but not even having an Amharic Bible? It is shocking.
Anyway, I hope for your sake they hear the need and heed it.

True, Rosie it is sad. What are the benefits of learning the language? Without the Bible translation in our own native language. It seems that their focus is not for the Amharic language speakers. In this case you are right it is "slap in the face".

I’m a native Amharic speaker and have requested Logos (Faithlife) to inculcate and make available Amharic and Ge’ez Bibles in their store but for no avail so far. This is another attempt and request to do so. A lot of Bible scholars want to learn and study Ethiopic language as part of their ancient manuscript studies. Accordance has Ge’ez but not here. This is another push for faithlife to make attempts and get us both Amharic and Ge’ez Bibles here. Thanks!

There is a request for an Amharic Bible on Faithlife's feedback site. Be sure you have voted for that:
There is so far not a request there for a Ge'ez translation, but you ought to post one so people can vote for it. Faithlife these days is very reluctant to take on new projects or resources unless there's enough user interest to warrant it. I keep telling them that "if you build it, they will come" -- in other words there are millions of potential Logos users out there who are native speakers of some of these languages who do not currently use Logos and won't vote for this. So how can they gauge the interest based on the few Amharic or Ge'ez speakers who are already willing to use Logos with only Bibles in English? But that's a first start anyway. Create a request for it and get as many users as you can to vote for it by drumming up interest here on the forums.

Greetings to all,
I am a long time Logos user. I used Logs for to fulfill my pastoral duty on a weekly basis to prepare sermons and teaching materials for regular service as well as for a television program, aired in East Africa Ethiopia. I was using extensively Logos in Seminary training. The benefit that I gained from this program cannot be expressed in words. However I am at a great disadvantage for not having Amharic Bible in Logos. I am thankful that Logos has helped us to use personal book builder to include Amharic Bible and other texts. In spite of the Personal Books Builder use we are still limited and restricted to access and use a number of valuable features of Logos.
Along with Tesfaye and others I tried in the past to reach out Logos developers to include Amharic Bible in Logos. Amharic is a Semitic language, Please know and be informed the liturgical language of Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Geez, is one of the few languages that Bible Students are studying. Geez is given as a course in Harvard University. Missionaries are studying Amharic to preach and teach. I believe Logos has a mission statement to spread the Word of God. Many missionaries have labored and spent a significant part of their life to construct letters and grammars to translate the Bibles in the language of unreached people. Logos can take this as a special project. If there is an effort to do this we can participate donating for the project. Our country is in dire situation now. If Logos takes into consideration to take this as initiative we can be willing to advertise and and initiate others to buy Logos.
