Do what you will with this.
http://www.aharef.info/static/htmlgraph/?url=http://m.logos.com
It's a graph of the m.logos.com site. You can see how pages are connected to it or hidden on it, just can't see which ones.
And the black dot at the bottom is the m.logos.com web page.

We're not even just hunting for domains. Subdomains are another animal altogether, and the DNS servers don't even need to know about them. If they can find logos.com, than the logos.com computer(s) will isolate the subs themselves.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Well, we figured out the work I was specifically wondering about was the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary...
EDIT: You know it's also occured to me, and this could be totally off- but the picture "Ever been here?" is a wall that seems to always be changing as far as the grafitti on it. Now, I know some places have walls or rocks that are open to graffitti so I'm wondering, does that wall have something on it now? Again, probably not, but if anyone is in the neighborhood and wants to check it out, it might be worth the walk!

Thanks! The Anchor Yale isn't in my library.
Did Dillard happen to write the entry on Beracah in there?
Yes.
BERACAH (PERSON) [Heb bĕrākâ (בְּרָכָה)]. A kinsman of Saul; one of the ambidextrous warriors from the tribe of Benjamin (1 Chr 12:3). In this list (1 Chr 12:1–8—Eng 12:1–7) the Chronicler is emphasizing the extensive support David enjoyed among Saul’s kin before David became king.
RAYMOND B. DILLARD
Sweet, thanks!

What are you up to Matt? I noticed the hyperlink.
Also, ambidextrous is the ability to use both hands equally well. You asked for the book, then give the reference in the link on an iphone. Are you saying you know of another hand that will be supported (i.e. a windows mobile app.)??

Ha, no I've not found anything about other OSs. But that picture wasn't on the website. (picture 24!)

What do you guys think of Bob's comment "But that's specs, not screenshots."?
Is he trying to lower my expectations

Matt,
B Chili? Do you mean salsa?
Ref.ly has been around for a little while now. The picture does say hidden sites with an s, so I wonder. As far as pic 24 goes. If you select and drag down the iPhone image (as if you were selecting text) there are 11 boxes that have a space in them. I wonder if those are the next boxes to be turned on?

I think given the way the thing on the website is formatted and what Bob said in his tweet, the image is a screen shot of Mobile Logos in action, if that is right I find it curious though it doesn't include the iPhone...
Or maybe he is just showing us that the app does produce something other than words.
Also, I know there has been a lot of talk about if this will work on Blackberries or not, but this is just a thought. The website is called m.logos.com. M for Mobile...it probably won't be iPhone exclusive, or at least it may be only initially iPhone exclusive.

David Buckham0 -
It doesn't include the iphone because it's a screenshot (you can take a screenshot on an iphone or ipod touch by holding the top power button and pressing the home button). Evidently he's running iLogos and took a screenshot while do so.

New pictures up. Confirms passage guide, word study guide, and text comparison. Though I'm not sure what that word under "read the bible in a year" says.

Andy,
Cool. I don't have an iPhone yet and I have an older iPod (60 gb Video) so wasn't even thinking in the realm of screen shots. Curious though that he doesn't take a pic of the iPhone with it loaded. Conspiracy theories begin.

I know I can't read it but given where it is "more category" and that it is an extra feature, wouldn't a Contribution or Collaboration feature be cool? Kind of like YouVersion?

THanks David. My guess? Presentation? I think it's a P and TION at the end, it was the first thing that popped into my mind but I'm not sure what that would mean. Utilizing video out function? nah, that's a bit too far fetched. What other P__tion or F__tion words do we have that might fit>?
0 -
No doubt about text comparison, img 36 confirms that.
As for the P word, my guess is Pronunciation. Making use of the pronounce feature in the exegetical guide? The blur doesn't really fit with pronunciation, but offhand I can't imagine what else it could be.

Matt,
My thought was what if it isn't a P or an F but a really
blurred C. Contribution or Collaboration. This would be like
YouVersion. You share your insights, thoughts, and interact with other
users. Could be really cool. But I think it is a P or F. I like the
idea of Presentation, though I am not sure how it would be used.all about Christ,

OK, now we need to turn our attention to the new scource code- code. It says, "Yes." What question is this answering? What questions have we asked in this forum between yesterday's post and todays? OR what discoveries did we make that they might be saying "yes" to? Hmm. Hidden sites?

Matt,
You realize that much of that is Logos stirring people up and is probably meaningless...

There should be notes, according to Pic#40 (entering a note) and #41 (blurred note icon, I think [:)]). Don't know about highlighting. If there'd be synchronization of notes (or highlights if it is avaiable) with desktop Logos that would be awesome!
Cheers, Amy

I found another hidden sub-domain, but nothing is on it. beta.logos.com.
Edit: There's some hidden content on it, containing Genesis 1 but the comment explains that it only exists to keep IE-friendly error messages from coming up. *shrugs*
http://beta.logos.com/Error.htm?aspxerrorpath=/
"Adding additional hidden content so that IE Friendly Errors don't prevent
this message from displaying (note: it will show a "friendly" 404
error if the content isn't of a certain size).
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."0 -

That is definately a deliberate rearrangement of pictures to make a big picture (or start to make a big picture). I like how Dan's face is in the middle box. Oohhh..you can spell logos with the pictures, but maybe that's unintentional. Ahhhh. I get it. It says 3g (perhaps 3gs). Clever!
An easter egg hunt sounds great! And yes, something should happen with that button!
Seeing BDAG on the iphone is pretty cool!

So how do we take the VP of marketing up on that table tennis game? I think I might have a shot at the $500.

Regarding the power button: Clever [H], yet not satisfying the desire for additional information [:S].

Does the MacWorld 2010 screen shot suggest that this won't be released until then?
If that is the case, then we are looking at February 9-13th for a release date. I don't know if I can wait that long! Considering they have screen shots of all of these things, you wouldn't
think it would take them all the way until February to get this done.Getting a logos ipod touch app has been something I've hoped for since purchasing the device.
I noticed too, they blur it out on a few screens (all of the ones featuring James 1) that there will note file icons at the start of verses that have notes attached to them. Awesome stuff!
I just hope there is a way of simply looking up a Greek/Hebrew word in the lexicons, because that is where Olive Tree's app disappoints.

Philip,
Take a look at the third screenshot from the bottom (just above the yellow @ sign). It's a selection from BDAG. So it looks like looking up words in lexicons should be pretty straightforward!

One additional thing I would love for it to have is the Lectionary viewer. It would be awesome to be able to know the readings for the next Sunday at a glance.
I noticed the BDAG picture, the only question is how well it will work when going back and forth between the Greek/Hebrew text and the lexicon.
Edit: Just noticed that it had this in one of the pictures (how on earth did I miss that the first time :-P)

DO IT! :-) (unless it delays the release of _____).
Also, when did the pictures change shape in the iPod? Has it been the same shape since they changed it?
