It was changed yesterday, and the shape has not changed since.
They also made the power button active (not the home button). It's on "top" of the iphone, directly above the second picture (the one with the red line through it).

The Hebrew text is reversed, I hope they can get it right

Does the MacWorld 2010 screen shot suggest that this won't be released until then?
If that is the case, then we are looking at February 9-13th for a release date. I don't know if I can wait that long! Considering they have screen shots of all of these things, you wouldn't
think it would take them all the way until February to get this done.I'm a little worried about that. Bob Pritchett's twitter page had this a couple of days ago. "But that's specs, not screenshots." with a link to the m.logos.com site.
But I'm still really hoping it's coming out sooner rather than later.

My guess is it will be released at some point after they have filled m.logos.com with pictures. They add 3 or 4 pics a day. So a month or so minimum until release.

You're right! The Hebrew is reversed.
That doesn't look good. It's a complex enough problem and I'm sure it'll take quite some time for them to fix. I was originally hoping for thanksgiving but it looks like MacWorld 2010 is a more realistic date...

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, and I really don't have a need for another print book, but I didn't see it mentioned in this thread and I just saw it so I thought I would mention that I found a bit of "Heaven".

I don't know. Last night when I was checking m.logos.com on my iTouch, the picture had completely changed into a smiley face. My first thought was that it meant that it was completed, then I thought that maybe this will be a cruel Halloween joke...I'm praying for the former.Chris Roberts said:My guess is it will be released at some point after they have filled m.logos.com with pictures. Bill,
And the shape changes again. Not sure what this is supposed to be. The shapes are just Logos having fun.

any thoughts on the post it note? it does seem one of the rows (or columns) is missing a number. some numbers are too big to be strongs numbers...maybe dictionary entries for anchor or something? doesn't make since though the first two numbers are repeated. i don't know how many entries that thing has.
all about Christ,

I was thinking that maybe it had something to do with the release date, since the first column has the lowest numbers when added together (standing for the month), the second column has slightly higher numbers when added together (day of the month) and the third column having the highest numbers when added together (year).
I'm not talented enough with math, however, to do any calculations to see if this theory of mine is true. It's just an idea that struck me when looking at it.

Are Logos likely to open up a public beta testing for the iPhone app version?

A hint of a reverse interlinear perhaps?

Just found this. If you click on the iPhone's power button, which is at the top of the device on the left, all the pictures dissappear.
Got that hint from the web page's source code a few days ago but just got the home button confused with the power button at the top.

Let's try an experiment.
If you can all agree on which 5 pictures to remove the blur from by 1:00 PM Bellingham WA time, we'll do it.
I want to see ONE post at 1:00 PM Pacific that everyone has agreed to that lists which 5 pictures to remove the blur from, and we'll do it. Your job is to figure out how to get consensus and get me one unified post. [:D]

Oh, that's easy. Let's appoint a king who will decide and then post his decision!

I would nominate Thomas Black, since he's the one who opened up this thread. [:)]

I vote we add MORE blur to the scary picture. [:P]
Seriously...I'd rather know what the unblurry yellow stick note means:
But let Mr. Black decide what to unblur.

Agreed. I vote on Thomas Black to decide. If Thomas does not make a recommendation, the duty falls to the nominator, Steven Baxley.

Agreed as well on both coutns. Thomas decides, but if he does not see the posts, then Steven Baxley makes the decision.

Dan I think its clear that if Thomas posts by 1PM Pacific his is the one to go with.
If he does not suggest the following. We are running down on time so i suggest the next 5 people pick one image each. Add the previous post's suggestion to yours so that they meet the call of ONE POST.
Below is my vote

I'm going to break the mold here, I'm OK with Thomas or Baxley moderating and coming down with final say, but I'm going to make a case for what I want to see.
2: This login might contain fundamental information on how this program will work with our existing accounts. What happens when you skip logging in? That will tell us more about what we're getting!
14: This will give us a new hidden function, and will also tell us what the yellow is in 41!
26: This comes from my desire to know more about the search capabilities. What information is displayed about the search-word? What is the hidden button?
33: What in the world is that button above settings? Pronunciation? Presentation?
31: Again, searching curiosity. Other than top bibles, entire library, what is the other option? Collections? Commentaries?
___
So what do you think of this as a working beginning list for us before Baxley or Thomas make the call? Let's discuss what we want to see revealed.
__
Finally, why does picture 33 show up twice?

I would add 26 to 37 (from Spitzer) ... Matt, choose one that you'd like, and we'll go from there. I'll be going off-line in about 1 hour.

Its a screen shot of an explorer window. Should have cropped the first row of the second pictur :-)
Dan's requirement was to have ONE post with 5 suggestions that were agreed upon by all. I would prefer the do the "everyone pick a picture" method but for the sake of having ONE with no one disagreeing I will agree with Matt until further notice :-)

I pick #2 and withdraw all other suggestions.

If we haven't heard from Thomas Black by 2:00 p.m. CST, then I'll post a list of 5 that Dan can use if Thomas doesn't post anything before 1:00 p.m. PST.

So to summarize (so we have running consensus) Thomas or Baxley are our representatives.
Baxley is soliciting 1 pick per person and so we have
37 (Spitzer)
26 (Baxley)
2 (Barclay)
OPEN
OPEN
Also Baxley's final post before going off-line will end our discussion on this matter.
We all in agreement on this?

Dan, for the record, no one has yet disagreed with Thomas, then Steve, then the 5 person backup plan backup. :-)

Just registering my agreement.

OK, Dan, here is my list:
37
26
2
14
33
This list is based on our mutual agreement. However, if Thomas Black posts a new list before your deadline, then his list trumps mine. [:)]

I vote with Steven

2 is now up! We did it! I'm guessing this means the rest will be coming soon! MAN I wish deacon meetings could work like this.

26 and 33 are up as well.
On 26, "Presentation" was indeed the blurred "P" word. Good job on figuring it out ahead of time Christopher!
I think it's interesting on #26 that Bible word studies are pulled off of the server. Does the fact that it is "static" mean that they'll have a big collection of every BWS already run? Also, that means we'll need an active internet connection to run a BWS. That's good to know.

That was fun! lets do it again!
37 was the only one I saw that mentioned anything about a time frame, and it doesn't give much, but I sure hope Logos has time for folders in favorites!

Good question, and this looks like the word study:

We need it unblurred next--I wonder if it is dynamic enough to change the lexicons displayed...or does everyone see the BDAG glosses?

Hmm, I wonder if we will have all resources of our library available or just a particular set? Also to access our library will we have to use the web continually? Hmm, so far it looks amazing just curious about the finer details.

Yes, this is a big issue for me. I would hope to have my bible at a minimum on my device to access when wireless fails me (tunnels, planes, the wilderness) and for better response times.
I would hope to have markup and note taking etc with my Bible and hopefully all my other resources also synchronise back to Logos on my Mac, even if its a button I have to press when the iPhone is physically tethered or better yet just on the same wifi network.

Yup, I agree Jason. Also, perhaps this is just with my account but when you go to your Logos account online it only shows the resources/packages that you purchased online. It doesn't show the packages I have purchased at a book store or the upgrades through Logos. I am hopeful that if we do have to be connected to their servers that they will sync our entire library rather than just those that show up on our online account.
