LBD - tabernacle - no reference to Gibeon

I‘m wondering why no reference to the tabernacle being in Gibeon. Chronicles has a few references to the tabernacle being in Gibeon. So wondering why there is not a paragraph entry for Gibeon in the article.

I assume you mean in the Historical locations section? I would assume it is because it was only a temporary location. Why do you expect it to be mentioned?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If it is a bible dictionary, I would expect it to mention all the locations. There’s only a few, so why drop Gibeon?Bob

Only the authors and the editor can answer that question - unlikely in peer to peer forums. But then, I didn't expect the list to be complete as nothing said it was. Gibeon, on the other hand, did mention that it was the temporary location of the tabernacle.

Well, again, all the locations were temporary. With so few locations I would have expected a bible dictionary to mention them all. There’s not hundreds of locations, where you can’t mention them all in a dictionary. I’m just looking for some reason, like the editors didn’t think it was in gibeon, or some other reason. It just seems to me that some mention would have been made In LBD. I haven’t checked other dictionaries, but will do so. I was just curious as to why it was not mentioned.
