macOS Safari Logos.com login fail

This should probably go in the logos.com forum but I will put it here for a little more exposure.
Yesterday I tried to access my profile and I was taken to a sign-in page for auth.faithlife.com.
I use macOS 10.14.6 Mojave (no I can't upgrade to a more recent OS due to hardware restrictions).
I am using Safari version 13.0.2. (Ok I just updated to Safari 14.1.2 and have the same issue)
The sign-in did not recognize my login. Yes I am entering it correctly as it works in other browsers.
I tried logging out of Faithlife and still can not log back in.
I have quit and restarted Safari - no luck.
I have restarted the OS - also with no luck.
The browser had been keeping me logged in and that is how I can still access the forums and app.logos.com (by using the still logged in (cached?) credentials).
I have a Parallels-VM of Mojave and using Safari in it I CAN login to the Logos.com site.
No I have not tried deleting my cache as I do not want to loose all connection through Safari that I still have. As a last ditch effort I will if no one can come up with anything else (I can use Chrome if I need to I guess).
Any ideas?

Update... Ok strangeness... now it is working.
I tried again and instead of the usual username/password dialog I was asked if it was ok for Logos.com us use my Faithlife credentials to login.
I said yes and now I can log in and out and back in. I can't say that it was the server as I could still log in from other browsers.
I have no idea.
note: the Authorize dialog was after I tried accessing the forums form my new found logos.com access. That's why the dialog states it is the Forums that wants permission.
