I've got the Beta running on Leopard with 2GB on my Mini. I realize that's probably marginal for RAM. Does Logos 4 run much faster on Snow since I can't put anymore RAM on this machine?
Hi Michael,
I can't answer the direct question about Leopard vs Snow Leopard. However the received wisdom at the time of the release was that the upgrade was worth it for the 'under-bonnet' improvements.
I run L4 on a 2gig MacBook and it isn't significantly slower than on my 4gig imac and both run at usable speeds. The biggest lag is when opening some of the side panels 'My content', 'Places' etc.
However it has to be said that I do not tend to do very much linking of resources and tend to dispose of tabs rather than store them up for later.

Phoronix used couple mac mini's to compare Leopard and Snow Leopard => http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=macosx_106_benchmarks&num=1
Apologies - after computer upgrade earlier this year, no longer have multi-boot configuration to directly answer Logos 4 question.
Do remember Snow Leopard upgrade noticeably speeding up Internet Explorer in VMWare Fusion. Also noticed free disk space increased by several GB's.

Sounds like I will need to see about going for Snow Leopard before making the plunge. I don't find Logos 4 slow really, but it seems like it uses more resources.
Mac Box set includes Snow Leopard along with iLife and iWorks suite => http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC581Z/A (retail is $ 140 more than Snow Leopard).
More expensive option for plunge is a refurbished Mac computer (with 1 year warranty - same as new):

Noticed previous generation mac mini for $ 589. Also saw previous generation 27" quad core i7 for $ 1,699 (dropped $ 150 recently).
