Embracing God as Father: Christian Identity in the Family of God

Embracing God as Father: Christian Identity in the Family of God by Daniel Bush; Noel Due
This volume is a Lexham Press publication. I surprised that there are no page numbers in in. Even when I copy and paste a quotation from it there are no page numbers listed. Does anyone have any insight as to why this is the case? Thank you!

I always tend to believe that it is because the concept of 'Page Numbers' in an electronic setting is nebulous. What might be page 10 to me on my screen might be page 15 on yours.
We really need a better way of logging a position in a text. Especially when we want to jump to that location with a click.

Thanks Mike, I could understand that if it was only a digital book. It is not, it is published by Lexham Press. I have come to expect more from Faithlife. Goodreads lists it as 256 pages. Without page numbers it is not possible to give a quotation in a sermon or other setting without limiting the source to the book title. That is somewhat like quoting "But Elisha said, Hear the word of the Lord:" and then saying that is from the ESV translation.

I am 100% in favor of proper citations. When in a sermon, it is important to faithfully tell people where things came from. However, I would never provide a page number in a talk. (I would provide a citation in my manuscript, however, for my own purposes). Furthermore, I have never heard anyone in a sermon or lecture provide page numbers (unless the professor was directing us to the particular page of our textbook).
I am of two minds when it comes to page numbers in eBooks. 1) we need to be able to properly cite sources and direct people to the original material; but 2) "page numbers" are increasingly meaningless (because there aren't actual "pages").
It would be good for a new standard to be developed for this purpose.
