What do you mean by anchoring a note to a date?

Whenever a note is created it contains a creation timestamp

What are you hoping to do with this anchor?

Please excuse me if someone has posted on this, but I couldn't find any discussion of this question.

How can I anchor a note to today's date--no resource, only the date? I'm using Logos 9.

Open a Calendar Devotional type resource to today's date. Then when you click the button to add an anchor to a note, it will give the option to use the date from the opened resource.

When I click the anchor from the opened calendar resource, the note anchor shows both the date and the resource. I wish not to have the resource named in the anchor.

I have a notebook, called "2022 Journal." I wish to see the notes by date only, so that when I review my notebook, I'll know (1) the last date I made a note, and (2) how many days/dates I've missed.

Did you have the calendar resource open and then just click the New note button in the Notes Tool and select the option to create a new note on today's date? If you did that, you shouldn't get the resource name included in the anchor for the new note

I'm using the technique suggested in this thread (circa 2022) but curious if maybe this has been updated to be a cleaner feature in Logos 10 and I'm just missing it. It seems like a very obvious (to me, anyways [:)]) utility to implement. Having to open a Calendar-based resource is non-intuitive and clunky, IMO. Why not make it a first-rate feature on its own?
