Android app crashes whenever network has issues

Since we haven't had enough crashing apps recently, let me add another scenario that causes the Android app to crash:

Phone is connected to a wifi network.

The internet connection of that network is unstable or broken (not the phone wifi connection, but the internet connection of the network itself). This is often the case with free wifi connections on public tranport for example.

Opening the Logos app when such network is active will cause the app to crash immediately after startup. (Not fixed by the recently released update. I already tried it on the bus today.)

    Hi Jan,

Are you able to use the app without any problem if you go into Airplane Mode in these situations?  I only offer this as a workaround, not as a true solution.

Please send in your logs, so that we can get more information about this scenario.

    Hi Joe,

Airplane mode is what I've been doing. Disadvantage, of course is, messaging services and calls stop coming through to me. It's a good workaround, but I'd prefer a more permanent solution. The issue started occurring some months ago, so maybe it's possible to fix...

I managed to get a log file today on the bus at the same moment that the app crashed, so maybe it will be useful. 7167.log.zip
