The Voice Bible does not open (Hangs)
I recently purchased the Voice Bible (ebook edition). I can open it on the iPhone app. But when I try to open it on Windows Logos 9.14 Beta 1
9.14.0.0003, it just hangs and I have force-close the program and restart, and the Voice Bible still wouldn't open.
Anyone else experiencing this? How do I get logs and post them?

I can sort-of replicate. On my slow laptop running Win 10, L9 Stable, it hangs for quite a long time, then finally opens up. There's definitely a problem with the resource, but try waiting a little longer to see if it opens up.
Maybe you should edit the title of the post to add 'BUG-RESOURCE' at the beginning and someone from FL might see it tomorrow. (See this link for log process: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files )

I can confirm on my MacBook Air (M1). It has not yet opened, but I am letting it go to see if it does eventually open like it did for Robert.
EDIT: It took a couple minutes, but it did open.

9.14.0.0003, it just hangs and I have force-close the program and restart, and the Voice Bible still wouldn't open.I can confirm that the Voice Bible hangs, but on my Windows PC under Logos 9.14 Beta 1 it just takes its time (over two minutes loading a layout with it, or loading it for the first time in a session, seems it goes down a bit to less than one and a half minutes when loading for the second time in a session). Note that this doesn't throw an error in the error log. Then when it's loaded everything works fine - well as fine as an eBook bible with no index works.
So my workaround would be to apply patience and make sure to close the Voice Bible prior to closing Logos (thus removing it from the last open layout for startup) unless you actively work in this bible. Hopefully FL can fix the eBook. On the long run, this should be a Logos edition with milestones.

Thanks all. I didn't realize this was reported to FL last year.
While it tries to open the resource, the computer goes into overdrive and the fan is swirling, and the laptop heats up. It's not good and problematic. If it's not fixed I'll have to return this for a refund.

I'm not sure about it, but it may be that this was fixed last year but crept in as a regression in the last update to the resource in March.

Kyle answered in the parallel thread - I know you saw that in the meantime, but for the sake of other users reading this thread: he told there is an update ready which will fix the issue and ship tomorrow.
