How does one change the "bio" at the end of a post. I've gone into Account Settings and changed it there but nothing has changed when I post. Any ideas?
Does the discussion at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/206005.aspx help?
Unfortunately there is nothing in that thread that tells me much. The changes I put in the *short bio* doesn't show up on the end of the post. Thanks for the effort though.
Are you confusing short bio with signature? I don't think the short bio shows up in posts but the signature shows up at the bottom. The signature is changed by clicking the edit button next to your name at the top right of the page.
Thanks for the reply John. You'll see what I'm referring to below my post where it describes the computer I'm using. I've gone into what says *short bio* and changed that and it keeps saying it's saving but nothing changes as to the info at the bottom of my posts. Does that make sense?

As John notes, this is not a "short bio" but a "signature." As he suggest, click on the "edit" link above.
Hi Bootjack:
Is it possible you are making changes to your signature on the 'Edit Your Profile' page (the destination of the 'Edit' link above), but are failing to click the 'Save' button at the very bottom of the page?
We live in an inconsistent world where some web pages have a 'Save' (or some other affirmation) button and some save just by the action of editing. The 'Edit Your Profile' (Forums) page is an example of the former, and the 'Faithlife Profile' page (where you change your picture and bio) is an example of the latter.
Interesting replies and appreciated. Mr Alabama24, clicking on the edit brings me right back to where I have been and it says where I'm attempting to update my computer info, "short bio" -
Robert, there is no "save" at the bottom of the page. A little popup does keep saying 'information saved."
This all adds up to "I'm getting nowhere quite fast" - but again, I do appreciate the attempts.

I'm not sure you're looking at the right place. Maybe a screenshot will help:
I think your nowhere is about right.
- From the forum, I tried to log in (since I was already logged in, like right now). That failed. The message said not my fault. Whew.
- I went over to Logos.com, and re-logged in ... successfully. I tried my profile, and it said my changes were successfully saved. I just arrived, whew.
- I made some changes to who could see what ... me, me, me! Wedding date?? Each time, it said successfully saved, but didn't save.
- I gave up ... headed for nowhere fast.
Ok MB Mick! That picture made it clear and I was finally able to do what I've been attempting to do these past few hours.
I'll post a picture where I was previous to your posting -
I definitely hear you DMB! Imagine us out on the Turnpike!
Good to hear it's working now for you!
Sorry John, I totally missed what you were so clearly pointing out. I'll plead the age thing and push it to its limits!
I was finally able to do what I've been attempting to do
Great! I don't know if has already changed for you, but sometimes it takes a bit before the change shows on the site.
The change for me was instantaneous although when I did insert the new info, it said up to 10 minutes before the change would take place. Appreciate your input JT! Thanks so much!
We are talking about two different things. I was talking about the Forum profile and the Signature line. Bootjack was talking about the Faithlife Profile and the short bio. I don't know where the Short Bio shows up but it is not in the Forum.
The "short bio" shows up this way - click on your name in one of your postings and when the page opens up, on the left side, click on settings and you'll be where I was floundering around.
The mystery is solved!
Wonder of all wonders! We have seen strange things today John!
