I have just purchased the NET audio bible to use it for a daily reading plan but cannot get it to sync with or play audio alongside the text like other audio Bibles do. Is there something that I'm doing wrong or is this something that might be able to be fixed at some point? TIA

Nearly all audio resources are unconnected to the text. Only a very small handful are "read aloud" enabled. I believe your options are the ESV and the LEB NT.

is this something that might be able to be fixed at some point?

It is the current "expected behavior." I do not know if FL will actually ever tie them together or not.

Thanks JT. I’ve just recently come around to seeing the improvements FL has made to the in app/house audio player and thought that I’d give a shot at switching my daily listening over. Thanks for your Input, they’re  helpful to set and manage expectations.

helpful to set and manage expectations

Up until recently, I have told people that I believe it is "unlikely." I still think that is the case, but a FL employee hinted that FL would like to have more resources linked like this. I remain in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp. It seems to me like a costly project with little financial return. If more resources are added, my guess is that it would be bibles (good) but not the NET (sorry). The "biggest bang for the buck" would be FL to do this for a few of the more popular translations. The NET is niche, and not really a "devotional" bible.
