Two Horizons commentary metadata

There is an issue in the metadata for the Two Horizons commentary series that is preventing series link from working properly.

For Two Horizons, the series metadata matches the publication data:
"The Two Horizons Old Testament Commentary", "The Two Horizons New Testament Commentary". Since the series data are different, series link considers them different commentary sets.

Whereas for New International Commentary, the series metadata is "New International Commentary on the Old and New Testament" for both OT and NT, even through the publication data distinguishes the two:
"The New International Commentary on the Old Testament", "The New International Commentary on the New Testament".

This means that series link doesn't work across OT and NT for Two Horizons, whilst it does for NIC.

Can the Two Horizons series metadata be updated to "The Two Horizons Old and New Testament Commentary" (similar to the way NIC was) so that series link will work, please?
I realise that I could do this myself on my copy, but that suffers from the disadvantages that (a) I have to remember to do it again as new volumes are added to the series, (b) everyone who cares about this has to do the same.

The "Series" that any resource belongs to can be changed at will by the user (that's you).

In the Library pane, select all of the resources that you want to change the series on to being all the same.

Make sure that the "Info" side pane is open and find the "Series" sub-section".

There is an area that will say something like "Set for all resources". It will say this if you have multiple items selected. Otherwise I think it just says set/change series. This time it will apply to all of the "Selected" resources.

Type whatever you want and press enter.

To revert back to the default (Faithlife supplied) series select all of them again and delete (empty) the Series field and press enter.

I can provide pics if you want after I get back home from work late tonight.

Tyndale TNTC/TOTC are combined under Tyndale Commentaries, and most other series combine NT/OT, so there is good reason to ask the same for Two Horizons.

However, I tend to truncate series names if they contain "for the Old and New Testament" as that provides a better presentation in Passage Guide. I also change the series name if Passage Guide reduces it to an acronym like TNTC.

I also suggest you follow MJ's suggestion and request this in Feedback.

I recognize there is some historical inconsistencies on how we've treated Series metadata. Some of these decisions go back a long, long, long time.

While we can change a series name, we try to be cautious in doing so. Changing a series can break collection rules for users. So while the change may be good for one, it may be bad for another.
