ESV Apocrypha Text Edition (Cambridge)

Hello, I just added a request for the "ESV Apocrypha" by Cambridge to the Faithlife Feedback requests that can be voted on: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-book-requests/posts/esv-apocrypha-text-edition-cambridge
Info:
Instead of relying on the only partial Deuterocnanonicals of the ESV Catholic Edition, or having to pay extra for Lutheran Apocrypha commentary that is not needed... how about the full ESV Apocrypha alone?

‘Apocrypha’ means ‘hidden things’, and is the term used to describe the books which were not accepted into the Hebrew Canon, but which survive in the Greek Scriptures. These books were written in the period between the Old and New Testaments.
Until the sixteenth century, the Apocryphal books were an intrinsic part of the Bible, although often regarded as deuterocanonical, or of secondary importance. Martin Luther wrote that they were 'nevertheless useful and good to read'. The Apocrypha still hold value for study and spiritual enlightenment.
This new edition of the ESV Apocrypha includes the same books as found in the Revised Standard Version Apocrypha: Tobit, 1-4 Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach, Judith, Baruch, Psalm 151, along with the additions to Esther and Daniel. Like the ESV Bible, the translation of these books strives for accuracy, providing an essentially literal word-for-word approach to the original texts.
This attractive text edition will be valuable for exploring these texts and enriching understanding of the history and thought of the Jewish people during the centuries leading up to the birth of Christ.

Added my vote, but I didn't even realize the ESV Apocrypha was available in the Catholic Edition. That's fantastic.

Did you check out The Apocrypha: The Lutheran Edition with Notes | Logos Bible Software
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

It'd be nice just to have the plain book, instead of needing to pay extra for a denominational commentary just to purchase it.
Also, I did own the Lutheran edition, and when copying the citation for the ESV Apocrypha, it just defaults to the Lutheran citation info with no mention of the ESV and I find that small detail irritating.0 -
I would love to see available for purchase in the Logos Bible Software, the ESV with Apocrypha. Something like this https://www.cambridge.org/us/bibles/all-titles/esv-diadem-reference-edition-apocrypha-black-calfskin-leather-red-letter-text-es545xral?format=BG&isbn=9781108816106

I own already on Logos the
ESV-CE. But I would like a text that contains the entirety of the Anagignoskomena.

This is most easily achieved by using translations that are available in the ecumenical edition, RSV, NRSV, and ESV . Forum members in churches with a Progressive Christianity wing may be able to provide additional translations.

Currently, the ESV with Apocrypha is not available in the Logos Bible software. The closest to it is the ESV-CE. I am aware of the other translations available in Logos Bible software that contain the Anagignoskomena. I regularly make use of these translations. I just wish that the ESV Apocrypha translation was available in Logos as well.

Hard to tell which is which. The preview for the 'text' version looks like the Amazon preview, for the with-notes version:
https://www.amazon.com/Apocrypha-Lutheran-Notes-Various/dp/0758625472/
In any event the Amazon preview is extensive; quite impressive. $40+??

Not in this instance as OP has indicated above, they don't want denominational notes / commentary, they just want the text.

The OP also wants to spend less money, and the version that includes both the text AND the notes actually has a regular price that is cheaper than the text on its own.

I did note that it was cheaper, but they had already rejected this option earlier in the post because it contained the denominational notes, and I was only pointing out their earlier rejection of this suggestion. It is their choice how much they want to spend. But for someone else yes, they might want to take up this option.

I really do wish there was a resource that within it contained both the regular ESV and the ESV Apocrypha instead of having to switch back and forth between two resources. It would also make creating a reading plan easier.
