Quite frequently trying to quote a previous forum report doesn't work (on macOS using Safari)

Intermittently, but I would think more than 50% of the time, when I try and quote a previous forum post when replying to it, the Quote feature doesn't work.

When I click it, no text is added to the reply window.

I only see this on Safari on my MacBook running macOS 12.3.1

Is anyone else seeing anything similar?

    My experience is probably similar, but different.  On Safari/iPad (latest), it can only do the quote 'all' ... you can't highlight and press the Quote button (well, you can, but it quotes everything).  On my MBP, it works fine.

    I assume you have your javascript on in Safari settings.

    Yes, I have seen that behaviour on Safari / iPad for some time.

    And, yes, javascript is enabled

    Posting this from Chrome on my MacBook which seems to handle things fine!
