Connecting Parallel Bible Versions to the passage I am Reading in my Bible

I just upgraded to Libronix Digital Library System Version 3 from Version 1.1.

In Version 1.1 I could click on a button in Parallel Bible Versions and it would automatically take me to the verse I was currently reading in my NIV Bible.

Can someone help me change it so that I can do this in version 3?

I'm not 100% sure that I comprehend what you are asking. Follow me with these steps and tell me what you see afterward. 1) Open NIV to Romans 8:18 2) Go to Tools > Bible Comparison > Parallel Bible Versions

The parallel Bible versions should pop up and then you hit the green arrow next to the selected passage. When my window opens up it is set for Romans 8:18-27 Did you get something else? Am I on the right track of understanding your question?

Michael, Welcome to the 21st Century! Most of us made this transition so long ago that we cannot remember what 1.1 did. What I'd suggest is that you use some of the training information still available on the Logos web site to learn what version 3.0 can do. You need to learn how to use all the tools you now have avilable to you in this version. Go to: http://www.logos.com/3/training

If you upgraded to 3.0 I hope you upgraded your base package so you got the Reverse Interlinears and some of the other tools that make 3.0 so much more valuable than 1.1. If you didn't you will be missing a lot.

Most of us are now using version 4.0. We'll do our best to help you get used to 3.0 but most of us are using it infrequently now, if at all.

One thing you might tell us is how you upgraded to 3.0. Did you upgrade a collection or just download the free engine? If you have a 3.0 collection, which one do you have?

I'd also suggest that you post further questions on the Logos 3/Libronix section of the forum for better visibility with active 3.0 users.

Thanks. This helped. I actually already had the Parallel Bible Versions opened and following your help helped me to realize I needed to hit the black down arrow next to the green arrow.
