HELP How do you use tags in the Prayer Lists?

I am writing the wiki page for prayer lists (and maybe bolster my argument for a couple of modifications) - you can look at the start on the wiki and offer suggestions if you would like. But what I really need to know is how people actually use the tags.

You help will get you a nice emoticon smile of gratitude.

I'm not currently using the tags Martha.

I have contemplated using them to group types of prayers (salvation, healing, etc) or to group the origin for the prayers (Sunday Service, Phone, Observation, Book on prayer, etc)

But since I'm not using them yet, I obviously haven't determined.

That's how I use them. I use the type of prayer as the "prayer name", then the names of the people as the "tags" (that show as a list below the prayer name), the condition if known as the "note".

The modification I would suggest is to have a pop-up window show the "note" when the mouse goes over the "tag".

Sorry, I see that this is how it works in Windows, I was writing from a "Logos4 Mac" perspective and this feature has not been implemented in the Mac yet.

Maybe some of you that use prayer lists and have shared in this thread can help me. I appreciate your posts as I develop my own prayer list usage which is developing into my own style over time. Love ideas and people within the Logos Community sharing! *smile*

However, my point, I have been buying resources for my Pastor to bring him up to speed with L4, having bought various resources for him in L3. (I give him the money and he orders on his account.)

A couple of months ago I gave him the money for the upgrade from Logos 3 to Logos 4, and he loves L4. He is really using it well.

Well, I was over at the Church in his office the other day, helping him learn linkage and prioritisation and a few other things, and asked him why he didn't have his prayer list on his ribbon.

He said: "Prayer list?" So I looked under file and he does NOT have the prayer list option....

My question: (I couldn't find info at the "comparisons" at Logos.com)

What package does one need in order to obtain prayer list usage??

I believe they are base level Milford - but they were not introduced until 4.0b Beta 5 and then released at Logos 4.0b. Is it possible that he is not running the latest L4? (Internet turned to off?)

Check under Help>>About to see what version he is running.

Probably, Thomas, you have many brothers and sisters - at home and away - remembering you and your loved ones in their prayers.

Will check with my Pastor to see his L4 version when he returns from holidays in early September. I feel truly honoured that he would entrust me with his pulpit for the five Sundays of August. Tomorrow is super ready to go! Next Sunday's is completed and will be polished for a week! Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified, and Him Resurrected! To God be the Glory!
