Factbook Appears to be Incorrect
The entry for German Protestant theologian Otto Eißfeldt or Eissfeldt has b. 1934 - d. 1965. My research source, Wikipedia has (September 1, 1887, in Northeim - April 23, 1973, in Halle). Facts point to the origin of the source of the error. As following the evidence reveals this information: "His magisterial 860-page The Old Testament: An Introduction (1934, 1965), giving a detailed literary-critical assessment of the history of the formation of each part of the Old Testament on the basis of the documentary hypothesis, has been called the "best of its kind".[1] "
My emphasis on years given.
Also, note search on his name in History of Israel Collection yields corroborating information. Also in my opinion the facts that should flesh out this significant scholar are absent. In my view this should be corrected.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.
