Pronunciation tool

I have looked a lot and tried a lot and cannot get the pronunciation tool to show up anywhere. If I search, the word a box comes up that asks me to choose a language above but there are no languages above. Nothing works. Does someone know how to fix this?

Hi Kathryn - and welcome to the forums

I have looked a lot and tried a lot and cannot get the pronunciation tool to show up anywhere.

If you go into the Tools menu, and type pron in the field at the top, does the Pronunciation Tool show there?

What, if any, Logos base package do you have?

Yes, it shows up but I cannot do anything with it except close it, or on the "Learn more" I can jump to the Logos Help listing, but none of that works either. The speaker icon is not showing next to the Lemma.

I don't know what resources you have... but here is what I do...

I have Strongs Talking Greek and Hebrew Dictionary... and I use the NKJV.

Then after that screen use the next screen.....

    23-05-2022-06-24-44

Then you will get this screen From Stongs......

I wish Logos was a bit more "enhanced" such that we could just click on a work in either English or Greek and it would be pronounced.... but so far I have not found that.

    Hope this helps.

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

You need a Logos Bronze Feature set for Greek but I would ask Customer Support to confirm whether Hebrew/Aramaic audio is included

Ok, thanks. It's not really a problem since pronunciation is available on other websites. I just wanted to have it there for convenience. Thanks for responding.[:)]
