The library when searched by author name, shows only one resource - not two. I wasted time trying to get both titles to open.
It's not a bug, it's really a feature - and I wouldn't want FL to make massive changes here (and I think it looks only weird because of the longwinded complex resource title).

This will only happen for resources that have a bible index and a bible index reference in the title. You could of course use this to deliberately open the resource to a specific location.
If the famous book "A shepherd looks at Ps 23" was in Logos and had a bible index, it would probably trigger the same thing.
Thanks - I now understand what it did but my reaction is that if I had wanted it opened to a location I would have said so - adding to and putting the reference after not before the title. I hate "helpful" software that assumes I am an idjit.
Fair enough - I've seen you changed the title from "bug" to "oddity". My feeling from the forums would be that many users expect less precision and more latitude from their software - possibly trained by Google ("you typed X but we assume you want to search for Y instead"). But I get your feeling: What absolutely drives me nuts is when Amazon.de "helpfully" translates English language book titles into bad German for me and offers me the cacophony of products that then fits that search...
But you did say so. It's understanding that you may have entered your command with the following intent:
"open job 29-31" in "the light"
This seems like a reasonable interpretation to me, especially since open job 29-31 is also a valid command. It's just odd that your resource title happens to fit that pattern so perfectly.
