Important words tool
I'm new to using logos and I'm using the bible study. When I try and use the important words tool it doesn't have a word list is there something I need to do? what am I doing wrong?

Okay, for once you've lost me. The highlighted word is the translation of the Greek word it is under - confirmed by the interlinear; the translation is from the highest priority Bible - for me it translates to "frankness" and the gloss is the standard FL gloss for the lemma. So where is the chip-monk (more religious than a squirrel)?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

The gloss ... holiness? That's lazy coding, when FL's actual gloss is sincerity, for the specified passage.

Ah, I see ... I was treating the line containing the gloss as a generic heading with the generic gloss rather than thinking it would adjust to the details below. I'll grant you one Western Grey Squirrel.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Well, as I understand it, you have prowess in coding. Since their glosses line up correctly, if you click on the greek word (and indeed in their greek editions), I'd assume the coding is either picking up the most frequent gloss, or randomly, which ever is first in the list. I doubt it's a data error.
Today, indeed a squirrel was madly running down our street. English (or Japanese) squirrel ... running on the left side.
