Is there a way to disable or turn off snapshots in the layouts?

I never find the snapshots useful for me and they just clutter up my layouts view and I have to go in and delete each snapshot one at a time..

AFAIK there is no way to turn them off. Generally, recovery features such as the snapshots and synchronization can't be turned off.

Hi Rodney,

I never delete any snapshots. Just leave them the way they are. Each time I am finished in a layout I update it to the named layout. For opening these named snapshots I have set shortcuts in the shortcut bar on top.
Just for curiosity: why the need of deleting snapshots..
