create collection from documents?

Can a search of all sermons created in the sermon tool be done in sermon tool or documents tool?
If not, is there perhaps a way to create a collection which consists  of a certain number of documents, e.g. sermons and which then could be searched via the search tool? I tried but could not manage to include docs in a collection via "+ this resource" option.
Ideas and/or solutions are much appreciated.

PS.:  I personally am not (as of now) using the sermon editor tool because of such concerns, but rather write sermons, etc as Word docx file and then just add the file to a personal book.
Now, someone would rather have all his notes, sermons, etc. within Logos documents ... thus my above questions if there are perhaps possibilities of which I am not aware

We can't create Collections from our documents, just library resources.

However, if you do a Basic Search on Your Documents this will search your documents including sermons.

Additionally if you tag sermons with biblical references or topics they will show up in the Sermons section of Passage and Topic Guides.
