CD-ROMs

I'm looking to buy the Word Biblical Commentary set that is only available on CD-ROM. I just want to confirm that I can copy all that on to my computer rather than having to use the CD every time. Probably a dumb question but I want to make absolutely sure before spending $600.

And a related question for the Logos gurus - the WBC is not available for iPhone/iPad. I know this is up to the publishers but I'm wondering if its just a matter of a deal being in the works or if that means for the foreseeable future it will never be available. I rely on my iPad pretty heavily for my Logos use and am curious to see if you think some of the resources will become available or if you've already got the thumbs down from the publisher for use on mobile devices.

The books are transferred to your hard drive and operate like any other Logos books. The CD will come with an activation code that you will probably want to call Customer Service to activate it on your account. EDIT: This is because the CD comes with the Windows version of Libronix, once the product is activated on your account, L4 Mac should automatically download the books, you probably won't even need to stick the CD into your computer.

Regarding you iPad question, Logos certainly wants the entire catalog to be available on the app, they'd have to comment on how close they think they can come to that. However, I doubt they would comment on what are probably ongoing contract negotiations.
