Text style glitch

I followed the Label Entry feature training video carefully to create labels, but some of them "leak" by applying the label style to part of the biblical text. This only happens when the label is for a long passage extending into a subsequent chapter. The style gets applied from the start of the next chapter.

In the graphic below, you can see I used the highlighting tool to "INSERT TEXT: Text Before" to indicate the start of John's first vision, running from Revelation 1:9-3:22. From the start of chapter 2, the biblical text takes the style of the inserted text. Why? It seems to be a bug.
