Buying an old Legacy Library

Hi,
I know it is kind a stupid question, just want to make sure.. Can I buy an old Logos 8 Legacy Library and use all resources completely normal in Logos 9?
Will the dynamic discount apply when i buy other base packages that include books i buy in that library?

I love the legacy libraries. I think I've bought different legacy libraries now from L5-L8. It's often the cheapest way to buy resources that you actually want - and get many more thrown in too. I now check every book I put into my wishlist to see if it's included in a legacy library.

Agree ... the key being make sure they're on sale. Granted, that's a bit tricky.

Legacy libraries are the best idea Logos’s ever had since the old library builders back in the old libronix days 👍😁👌

They are already really cheap, for example Logos 8 Bronze for only 80 Bucks. So i thought there must be some sort of catch😄

Agree. But periodically (earlier this year), they go on sale ... best time to really load up. Below, the breakout doesn't show a sale (currently the L9 collections are on sale).

Has anyone noticed a Legacy Library package containing some Craig Keener books?

The SUPPORT GROUP FOR LOGOS and VERBUM library and standalone resource addictions is LIVE!:
https://faithlife.com/creating-a-budget-and-canceling-orders/activity
I'm the admin of this group and created it already a long time ago.
I took a permanent leave from Logos Years and Years ago. I myself have got a sophisticated library curated by myself that would strike envy in most people not that I have as much or everything that others have, BUT because it was myself and I, solely who chose what I should have and what not and never shy:ed away from getting what I wanted regardless of cost and possibility to know what a particular resource is.
My long costly Years of building up a library specific to what I recommend ...: I was able to answer any question about what resources do I recommend someone to get by stating: I recommend everything that which I have now; paid me dividends in the long run Years after like this:
I become very fast and efficient in making decisions. At first small decisions. Much later all big decisions too. In any type of areas of life, in any matter. At work. Privately.
Because it was such energetic mental gymnastics. Both the to afford part. And the highly sophisticated extremely complex calculations at first in that, later in choice of denomination IRL and everything that followed - there being no ready-made guidance.NOTE about my PHONENUMBER: I don't have any number view at all, nor any answering machine. What phone calls I will sometimes miss is because it doesn't ring long enough and because I have no number view. Just today Tuesday 2022-06-28 when time might have been between about 3:00-3:45 PM or so, I missed a phone call which did seem like it's someone testing or wanting me to, return that phone call out of the phone memory. Of course I could call and a day such as this even actually might indeed. I just don't know who it was and it must have been a person I most definitely don't have their number and that they know I definitely don't have it either. I'm sure I've missed out on something. BUT I AM ALWAYS completely what or if I miss out on something that particular way. It is extremely cheap, to free, for me to call anyone and I'd love to talk, - find Your suitable way to contact me if You see this which I expect You don't!
This post I made so that You can join my Faithlife addiction support group, anyone! Welcome!
I will never ever respond to anything whether on this very forum in this particular thread nor on anyone who wants me to promote Faithlife. I've shifted platforms for good.
But I do like being admin of groups. I also have a printed book trade group that I'm the sole working admin of it is hard work and there is absolutely no-one suitable to whether replace nor assist me - I am the only one with the right background who isn't too narrow to be admin in it.Simon said:Maybe we can start an support group, 'cause slowly the addictions comes up in me as well

Most of us have bought legacy libraries from every version and every denomination and every color. I picked through them such that I could not justify spending a couple more dollars for another upgrade because the books in the next package were not worth that much. I took it to the point where I would not spend $0.38 on a Baptist package.

Yes. I did the same thing.

Are we all passing on the same $0.38 Baptist package? LOL. If it was not $0.38, it was close to that. I have passed on quite a few very low cost packages that have nothing that I want.

Here's something to file away for later, when the LL go on sale again. This LL has both Berit Olam and Sacra Pagina collections in it. A great savings for me, plus all the other books that come with it. Right now, I'm try to decide between the Preaching Kits and the Best Commentaries.[:P]

And lots of Patristics, plus a number of Orthodox resources.
