BUG or Flaw?: NET Bible 2nd Edition Visual Filter Issue

When I use the "Bible text only" visual filter in the NET Bible 2nd Edition (NET2), the notes seemed to be controlled by the "Non-Bible text" option instead of the "Footnote indicators" option. So when I want to turn off sub-headings but still want to see the notes, I can't because when I deselect "Non-Bible text" the footnotes disappear as well. If I want to see the notes I'm forced to see the sub-headings as well. Not good. (The NET1 seems to be working fine so this is only a problem with NET2.)

Notice the lack of footnotes in the NET2 even though I have  "Footnote indicators" selected:

Can this be fixed to have the notes controlled by the "Footnote indicators" option instead of the "Non-Bible text" option?

[Sidenote: If the sub-headings in the NET2 weren't larger and in bold print I wouldn't need to turn them off in the first place. I wish they were smaller and not bold like the original NET Bible. I don't know how much control Faithlife has over the formatting (are the sub-headings bold because the publisher wanted them that way or did Faithlife make that decision?). Perhaps Faithlife could change them to match the NET1 formatting to be less distracting. The above issue would still need to be addressed, however.]
