There is a feature in Logos where if you do a lot of searches, Logos will put them all on the same tab so that you don't get a lot of open tabs.

This feature should also apply to notes.  I can get a half dozen open note tabs in a short time.  Let them all use the same tab.  Keep things uncluttered

I'm not sure what you'd like to gain from this suggestion ... I understand and use the "target" feature for doing searches and some other features to avoid multiple instances of the same resource tab, but can't quite see how this applies to notes.

When using the "right-click" / "context" menu, I can select a particular notebook from existing notebooks to which I then add the note (i.e. 2 clicks to be at the place to write the note text ... including having the option to put the note to appropriate notebook according to need). As long as I am addin note to the same notebook, the tab with that notebook is used (no new tab opened). Only when I select a different notebook to which to add note, a new additional tab with that notebook is opened. Since the different notebooks are treated similar to being different "resources / documents", they are opened in different tabs. 

How would what you have in mind expedite this procedure or improve its functionality?
