Training needed
I'm looking to connect with someone who was a seasoned Wordsearch user who has successfully transitioned over to Logos 9. I need some help getting set up. I looked at some tutorials but I'm still struggling. jay.varrone@gmail.com

Jay, I am not a former Wordsearch user and I am sure someone will chime in. Now I would advise you to edit your post and remove your email adress to prevent spam and the like.. or change it in order to make it harder for bots to recognize it as an email adress. Something like name dot name at gmail would do

Hi Jay - welcome to the forums, there are plenty of folk here willing to add their tuppence worth of advice.
My advice is not to try and 'learn Logos' but to try and accomplish a specific task with Logos. Seek our the video that shows you how to do that task (or something like it) and if you run into a road block come back and ask the question in a new thread with a helpful title.
There are no silly questions, even seasoned users surprise us either with simple things they did not know, or by explaining simple things we did not know.
There are loads of things in Logos that I don't use because they do things I don't want to do hence I have never bothered to learn much about them.

This is quite a good approach to using Logos as its sheer immensity can be overwhelming. Focus on the tasks you use and before you know it you will get great utility from the program. Eat this elephant a portion at a time. Find videos that highlight the functions you need, some presenters are better than others or just speak to us differently. Enjoy the journey.

Two great pieces of advise and suggestions. I will add.... watch the videos and ask questions.... these people on the forum are super fantastic at helping you...
