FLOAT ALL NEW PANELS Preference Setting Request

Would it be possible to have a Preference Setting that you could check that would automatically Float every new Panel that is opened? This would be such a great feature for those of us who ALWAYS Float all new panels. That doesn't seem like it would be too difficult. What do you think - any other takers?

Yes, i think that would be great. I'd like to be able to do the opposite too. That is, to open all windows docked by default. Including library etc.

This would be a really great feature - the logos box doesn't suit the Mac philosophy very well - especially when using multiple monitors or spaces. Of course if you grant this wish then it won't be long before people are asking for the ability to define the size and shape of the opening windows as they build their more extensive layouts across the workspace.

And how about a keystroke command to float a panel? That would really be efficient.

Not a mac user, but this sounds like it might be useful in the PC version as well. Or the keystroke command, as somebody else mentioned. Good idea.

You can add suggestions, and vote for others and find out the general status of them.

I don't want to discourage the posting any new cool feature you might have thought up and want to discuss at all, just know that is one of the official ways of suggesting ideas for L4.
