BUG: Dead Links for Longtime Logos Resources
Reading in The Verbless Clause in Biblical Hebrew and right off the bat I'm encountering dead links for resources I've had in Logos for years. I have both the Tigay and Weinfeld resources in my library, but neither link in this footnote is active. THIS COMPLETELY UNDERCUTS THE WHOLE REASON I BOUGHT TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF BOOKS I KNOW I WILL NEVER READ. I want to be able to follow the thought trains in these discussions without being side-tracked by having to manually call up each of these resources.
At some point the constant refrain of "yet more dead links" undercuts the marketing ploy of FL that your library is more valuable because LINKS.

Inconsistent Comparison - check!
Bait and Switch - check!
Misleading Illustrations - videos count? check!
Quality or Origin Deceptions - check! And that's just the ones related to this particular dropped ball (bad links)--there were 3-4 other topics listed I've heard others complain about over the years. This has been an issue going back to the very beginning of the Forum, and the company existed nearly two decades before that. Approaching 15 years is PLENTY enough time to work through the backlog of missed links from resources that had an early adoption. I know it's probably been at least a decade since I made the suggestion in the forum that FL create links for ALL citations--even for those pointing to resources not yet in the Logos stable--just so the links for any eventually acquired resources would automatically work once the resource was included. Was that implemented? Who knows? I do know that almost every day that I spend an hour or two working through new resources in my library, dead links seem to be inevitably encountered. It's been verging on criminal for a long time...and at some point it actually crosses the line.

Hi David
Thank you for calling a spade a spade.
I remember complaining bitterly about the useless links in Tom Wright's four book trilogy as each was issued.
One would have thought that there would be an 'unintended (but totally foreseeable) consequences' team at Faithlife dealing with the back catalogue.
