Looking for a Bible Study Resource - Ephesians or Phillipians

I'm looking for a Logos Bible study resource for adults (pre-seniors and seniors) on either Ephesians or Phillipians. Desired features include:
- commentary or small group study format
- 8 to 12 chapters (1 chapter per week)
- medium size chapters - 8 to 15 printed pages each.
- Not too academic
- discussion questions included (not a must-have)
- print version available for class members (e.g. Christianbooks.com, Amazon, Cokesbury, etc.)
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Two resources come to mind the first is inexpensive and very popular. The second is not as well known but for those who have used it, it comes highly recommended. The first is by Irving Jensen, and is found here:Ralph Wood said:I'm looking for a Logos Bible study resource for adults (pre-seniors and seniors) on either Ephesians or Phillipians. Here is the second, it's expensive:
Use the 30-day examination policy to your advantage.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

I recommend taking a look at the Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary (CCE) series. Great content and great discussion questions. The studies on Ephesians and Philippians are both very good.

They are 14 and 13 chapters respectively though.
While designed for pastors I have used it in men's Bible studies very effectively.

The Wiersbe Study Bible Series has what you’re looking for. They are set to (hopefully) release on the 7/28/2022. You can find them here:
1. https://www.logos.com/product/229060/warren-wiersbe-collection With other stuff included or here
2. https://www.logos.com/product/210638/wiersbe-bible-study-series But only the guides are included.
Depending on your dynamic pricing, the first option will be the cheapest one. I have Ephesians and others and they’re all 8 lessons each. At least the ones I’ve seen. I bought 32 of them when they were super cheap.
You can also create your own and use John Stott’s Bible Speaks Today commentary on Ephesians. The outline alone can serve as your guide and then you can create your own questions. His commentary and the one on Philippians by Motyer are very practical!

You're a sly one DAL, recommending a prepub; can't argue with Wiersbe. He's a standard.DAL said:The Wiersbe Study Bible Series has what you’re looking for. They are set to (hopefully) release on the 7/28/2022. You can find them here:

I haven't used this series but I eye it up every now and then... it is still stuck in FLEB though
Be careful when you look as there is usually a participant book and a leader book

😁 Yep! And if you remember, a lot of those (32) were sold for $0.99 cents, $1.99 and $2.99 in Vyrso/FL ebooks. Since WORDsearch had them all, now Logos will have them too! I like the 32 I have 👍😁👌 They were cheaper than the current prepub, so I may hold off and wait for a sale on the new volumes.

I have 16 of the 32. I know I slept on some of the titles. I'm happy with the ones I was able to pick up. Thanks for the recommendation.DAL said:Beloved Amodeo said:You're a sly one DAL, recommending a prepub; can't argue with Wiersbe. He's a standard.

Good evening Ralph,
I am starting a Bible study course for my church starting July 21. There are ten lessons scheduled.
My main source for the preparations is ...
Duvall, J. S. (2015). Getting the Most Out of Ephesians: Your Guide to Enriching Personal and Group Study. Lexham Press.
You can find this in Logos. I hope the tip is helpful.
Best regards from the beautiful Black Forest, Germany.

Another hint: The print edition can be found at Amazon, for example.
