State of Being and God Search inquiry

Fellow Bible Students, does anyone have a list of all the predicate nominative statements about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? That would be statements like "God is Love" or statements of being terms.

Would you share with me?

Trying to figure out how to find them in Logos but have not figured out how to catch them all.

Hi Joe

I just look for "God is love" (1 Jn 4.8), right click one of the words and find a function that matches your description i.e. Informative: Assertive. Then launch a Bible Search from the other side i.e. {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}. Now I need that text to mention God:-

God WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}

Going further, require God to be a nominative noun (in a bible with a Reverse Interlinear like ESV, NASB95):-

(God INTERSECTS <LogosMorphGr ~ NN???>) WITHIN {Section <SpeechAct = Info: Assert>}

I don't know if that is possible with Hebrew, so stick with the previous search.

Modify that for Holy Spirit, Jesus in place of God.

I could show you a Syntax Search which might be more definitive if necessary.

Hi, Thanks for taking some time to help me. I will give this a try. I don't know enough about, Logos to do complicated searches. I know even less about Hebrew to be able to find what I am looking for. God bless
