Mobile Device

My mobile device (Kindle Fire) is not showing up in my desktop Logos Library as a device. Uninstalled on mobile device and reinstalled but still not showing up as a device. Don't want to download certain books by hand to mobile device and could do it easier on desktop. I have seen a few posts about this but no answers to why it is happening.

I don't have a fix for the specific issue you raised, but I may have a solution for the reason you are seeking help.

If these will be books you will download again and again on new mobile devices, create a specific user tag. For example: "mobile." On your device, you can then use the syntax mytag: mobile to filter your library for only those books. Once your library is filtered, you can download them en masse. You can create as many tags as needed (i.e. "tablet," "phone 1," etc.)

What a great tip!

I don't use the devices thing on the desktop. My guess, is that FL can't tell when you delete an app; only when you install it. But that's probably wrong.

Instead, I've been downloading one by one, from my bad memory, after a re-install.

But tagging my desktop library for later use by my iPad apps, and my iPhone app is just perfect. I forgot about the mobile app library filter, that picks up my library tags. Then select all (of the filtered).

Personally, I'm guessing the desktop library tagging idea is more functional/manageable than 'devices' .. adding, removing, checking off.
