So today I decided to bite the bullet and get into Logos 9 silver. I already the desktop app. after my purchase I opened the app again and it had a synchronization issue. killed it, reopened, still had the issue. restarted my computer and reset my password (it made me log back in after restart). it logged me in fine. I watched the progress status bar as it was downloading. all was fine. I was logged in, browsing around the app when suddenly the app crashed. I get the dreaded "logos quit unexpectedly..." message. I reopen the app and now its forever stuck on the "preparing your library" screen and the app won't open.

MacBook Pro running Catalina.

Welcome to the forums. Without logs, I can only ask if Faithlife Status might be related

Quit Logos. Then enable diagnostic logging, restart Logos and upload zipped files via the paperclip icon when it gets stuck or crashes.

First, you should be on Monterey 12.5 MacOS. Second, different scenario but similar circumstance, I simply restarted with password and problem resolved YMMV.
